Inspired by Hildegard of Bingen’s umbra viventis lucis (“living Light”), this piece imagines a voice suspended in darkness—holding light within it, scattering radiance as it moves. Using an overhead projector, the performance integrates an optical exploration of light and shadow in dialogue with a sonic painting of silence/stillness, sound/movement, and darkness/illumination.​​
